What is Kazaa Lite?

Kazaa Lite (sometimes called 'K-Lite') is a Peer-to-Peer File Sharing application that does not contain any 'Spyware'. In actual fact, it is a slightly modified version of the very popular Kazaa Media Desktop (often called the 'Original Kazaa' or 'KMD'), which is made by Sharman Networks. Both programs are very similar, with almost identical features and appearance. The main difference is that Kazaa Lite has been modified so that it does not have any of the so-called 'SpyWare' and 'AdWare' that comes with the Original Kazaa.

by the way, I ran adware on my system. Kazaa lite's "topsearch.dll" file is consider to be spyware according to lavasoft's adware.

they now adding spyware in this too?!?!?

no. i belive that that file acts as a dummy file. in order to run kazaa it requires the spyware. what kazaa has done is replaced the spyware with a dummy file into tricking kazaa into thinking the spyware is there when it is not, so the program can still operate. do not delete that file. If you delete it then kazaalite will no longer work.
