I've been looking at one of these for a while. How's the coffee? How is that machine compared to other K-cup machines?

Keurig B66 (Ultimate) + 90 KCups + Filter @ Costco $170
Just got this at Costco over the weekend.
In comparison, the Keurig Mini (B40) goes for $100, the B60 goes for $160 and the 90 kcups + filter goes for about $70. So either way you're saving on the machine or getting free kcups.

Coffee is great. Good machine. Excellent customer service. Coffee will be more expensive per cup, but the convenience and lack of clean up more than compensate as far as I'm concerned.
I know that everyone who comes to my house loves the machine and wants to buy one.
As an alternative to Costco (which is a good deal), Playfair Coffee in Brampton had an awesome deal recently - not sure if its still on. Their machine prices were cheap already, and then they were giving half the price of the machine back in kcups.

Can't speak to that particular model, but the Keurig machine we had at work made the worst coffee I've ever had. It was universally loathed by the entire office (a few hundred people). We finally got rid of it.

I have the single-cupper model. It's great. Very easy to use. I went with it since I'm living alone so having stale resevoir water didn't appearl to me, since I usually only use the machine on weekends - I like to drink my coffee an hour or two into the work day.

I have a b60 and love it.. one thing that could be an issue is the k-cups do have a best before date IIRC.. I wonder how old this stock is.

I also can't speak about this particular model, but I wanted to say that people's taste in coffee is an extremely subjective issue, so people shouldn't put too much weight on reviews that focus entirely on the taste of the coffee...
For what it's worth, my company has 230+ employees and we used to have a Keurig coffee machine. Sure there were a few people that hated the taste of the coffee, but that's to be expected when you have such a large sample of users. I really liked the coffee, and I can say that the flavoured coffees were especially well-liked by everyone in my department! (Unfortunately, our Office Services department decided not to renew our contract with Keurig, and instead switched to a different machine that uses cheaper single-serving pods.)

i buy em at rmcbeverage ...they deliver free if you buy 4 boxes, and have Green Mountain ...and just added a few others, but, not as good as the Green Mountain, though the Diedrich Columbian is nice ...not very impressed with the Gloria Jeans flavors
(waste of a box) ...havent tried the others yet.

It is $174.99 here in Edmonton and I absolutely love this thing. I always made a pot before and would waste half of it but now just make a cup whenever I want. Awesome machine and great reviews everywhere.

Does every single cup brewed mean there's a plastic k-cup to throw away or are they at least recyclable? If not, it seems there's a lot of waste being generated for just a single cup of joe.

i dont think they're recyclable due to the grounds inside them
but you probably could empty them and do it if needed (and compost the grinds)
i agree on the waste .... however the waste of 4 cups of clean water for a regular pot of coffee being wasted as well as the energy used in a normal machine offset some of this
i know my alumunium nespresso capsules are not recyclable but they're made from recycled material
