Keyword-based instant notifications

Hi,

I have a feature suggestion. It would be great if we could receive instant email notifications whenever certain words appear in a new forum thread or deal. Each user would specify words or phrases to watch for. For example:

• Someone who usually shops at The Gap could set "The Gap" as a phrase to watch out, and be notified promptly whenever a new deal for The Gap is posted
• Someone who likes a certain brand, say Nike, could set "Nike" as a keyword to be notified of all Nike-related deals or forum threads
• Someone planning on buying new shoes could set "shoes" as a keyword to be notified of all shoe-related deals/threads

Often I miss sales because I don't check the site often enough, or I don't notice the thread for that sale until it is too late, so this would be very convenient.

It's in the plans, it's just a bit of an undertaking due to the size of the site and the number of users.

Awesome. I hope you guys are able to use something open-source rather than coding it all yourselves.
