KFC and their puny chicken pieces
Anybody else notice this. They're now like 5 cm pieces of a starved chicken.

Most of them serve Halal Chicken now though I doubt that makes the difference. INVEST IN ORGANIC CHICKEN AND YOU'LL GET ME GOING!

They've had puny chicken for a long time now. The last time I remember their chicken being a decent size was back before there was a big problem with chickens in Ontario. I think there was a big heatwave and it killed off a lot of the chickens being produced.
I could have sworn it was even further back(in the late 90's perhaps).600,000 CHICKENS DIE FROM HEAT WAVE: SUDDEN SPIKE IN TEMPERATURES ROASTS
BIRDS ON FARMS IN ONTARIO, QUEBEC
July 6, 2002
The Ottawa Citizen
A1 / Front
Tony Lofaro, with files from Elaine O'Connor
The scorching heat wave last week also roasted hundreds of thousands of
chickens in Quebec and Ontario.
More than 600,000 birds at chicken-producing farms throughout the two
provinces died from exposure to soaring temperatures, a figure a national
chicken board official said is unprecedented. Quebec farmers lost more birds
-- nearly 464,000 -- compared to about 150,000 chickens lost in Ontario.
Mike Dungate, general manager of the Chicken Farmers of Canada, was quoted
as saying yesterday about the dead chickens at Quebec farms that, "It's
significant, nobody wants to lose those birds. It's more than we would like,
without a doubt. To put into perspective, on any day we have an average of
95 million chickens in barns in Canada, so this (loss) would be half of one
per cent."
The lost chickens were being produced for meat consumption, and were not
egg-producing birds.

Popeye's is also robbing us now. I bought 6 pieces of chicken on Saturday, 2 thighs and 3 drumsticks were normal size and one thigh was tiny! As this was for 3 adults, it was embarrassing who would get the tiny one (about half the size of the others).

I don't know what Popeye's you went to, I recently went to the one on Leslie and Major Mac up in Richmond Hill and the pieces they gave me were ridiculously huge. I'd never seen chicken pieces that big. I couldn't finish them entirely, there was just too much meat. The bland meat got gross after I had eaten off all the deliciously coated skin
