I know that these were argued to death but based on price, I don't know which to get. Have about 3 hours to decide.
I want to hackintosh either: MSI Wind U100 or AAO 10.1" 1gb 160 model.
The price is going to be around $350 (give or neutral $20) for the MSI Wind U100; already hackintoshed with everything ready to go. Has 2gb ram and 6 cell. (Max cells is 9-cell) -Bought just to be hack'd then resell so it is still new.
Has to be shipped-Moving to a new place so maybe a plus. Has bootloader.
AAO: A promo makes this price to be about $186 total after a redemption of points and it has I believe a 3 cell. I'd have to work on it and get replaced the ram, and changing the wifi card. (Max cells is 12-cell)
Replacement of 12 cell = $90
New wifi card = $15
Ram = $20
Free $20 FS GC.
Is locally located. -Maybe a negative since I am moving.
So ultimately, 1 is already made and 1 is not. considering the prices which should I get? I think the AAO is standing out right now.
Any opinions before I grab this? From what I know with the new 1.09 patch it is easy to down/upclock MSI. Both look really good to me but I don't know which to pick.

If I were you;
I'd go with Acer for the reasons below;
- Vista > Windows 7 upgrade option
- Faster CPU
- A lot better Video card
- Still small size
- CineCrystal screen is sweet as I saw and used a little while at friend's laptop_______________
Nikon D200+Grip, Tamron 17-50mm, Nikon 35mm F/2, Nikon 85mm f/1.8, Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Macro, Nikon SB800, Manfrotto 190+RC482, 4 GB Sandisk Ultra CFII

Thanks for the reply! Hard decision, can't hackintosh the timeline. Though, the timeline is sweet. Won't really need something this powerful until 2010 when I start classes.
What about the AAO and the Wind? Out of those 2 which one? I kinda thought that putting $500 for a netbook and risk getting robbed on the metro isn't that great -heh.
Thanks again for fast reply (:
I think I will take the timeline option off unless everyone thinks that it is totally worth it to invest $200 more into it which I don't really need that much power til classes start.

I havent spent enough time to take a good look on AAO, but it sure looks a cute and sweet little netbook.
In this case I'd go with MSI, since I kinda like the way it looks and its ready to go.
you mentioned you are moving, if its overseas, Acer's warranty is better on overseas. If you are still in North America, I'll go with MSI_______________
