I just signed up, should I cancel it now or save the link and do it after three month ? Literally nothing useful over there. I'm talking about technical literature

I cancelled mine right away. It displays, "your membership is valid until February".

Nice! Reminds me of the similar promo they did for Audible, some time back

Can you keep the books you downloaded after the trial expires?

Thinking about buying a Kindle as a Christmas present..

No, you're only "borrowing" the books with KU, not buying them.

I had this the last time they made this offer during prime day.

Selection of books is really lacking.
There are a good number of travel books, but beyond that I was very underwhelmed.
For novels.. think of any high profile author or series.. and their books WILL NOT be available.

For $0.99, no harm in trying it, but personally I'm not going to resubscribe.. even at this price.
This space for rent.

I don't understand the logic to cancel immediately. What's the difference if you wait until next Feb, the free trial still expires after 3 months, right?

It seems straight forward, from my perspective, why not do it now when you can? Cancelling right now doesn't degrade value/features of the service. I could do it now and not worry about it verse potentially forgetting to cancel.

Thanks for the explanation. I will give it a try.

Can you use this for a Kindle that is registered with Amazon.com. That is, can you have both Amazon.com (US) and Amazon.ca Kindle titles on the same Kindle, simultaneously?
