I don't have much money but I'd never line up for hours just to save ten bucks.

Edit: maybe "hours" was an exaggeration, and also I think Kinton's spicy garlic ramen is among the best in the city! I just don't like these mad scrambles for a deal that save you very little money irl.

Is it really hours? They have so many locations and so much competition is there really that much lineup for these? Never been on these special days but don't see much lineup anymore on regular days.

Last year it was on a Friday and my local store was packed with students and after-work peeps around 5ish? I didn't bother getting the deal.

This year, it's on a long weekend. I'll take my chances. I find with these deals (like the $2.22 bubble tea one the other week) it's always the mobs of students forming said lines.

it's not the best ramen out there but it's decent and since there's many locations its good
staff is friendly but lineups will be massive
last yr i was gonna go, saw the +1hr line and said no ty
not worth it to save $8 i can make more $ using that 1hr working overtime
and dont have to line up on the streets
wish we had this but cheaper:

The key there is just before opening, and still relatively early before many people eat lunch on weekends.

I'll probably do a drive by this afternoon not at peak lunch time and see how it goes. Will probably end up driving right by if it's busy.

No it's just a quiet long weekend. No students, no 9 to 5 ers, no Jays/Raptors/Leafs crowd today. I just left and you can grab a seat just walk-in.

You can't get ramen at any restaurant in Toronto for $5, so this is automatically the best $5 ramen. I would give Kinton about 3.5/5, its good but not great. I do not go to these events, even during regular pricing many Kinton ramen are usually quite busy. I imagine it would be quite a wait
