Didn't notice this in the flyer or forums...apologies if it's a repost! Picked up the KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker attachment from FutureShop.ca fr $49.95 tonight. Until recently this retailed for $129 at FutureShop then went down to $89.95. The $49.95 price is valid through January 3, while supplies last. There are also a few other attachments being reduced, including pasta press, rotor/slicer, flex edge beater and others.

Works fantastic. Bought two last year with the MIR when it had the bonus to buy 3 items. Got them for almost nothing. Actually wanted two so when i mix up a batch I have do lots of ice cream at once.

Our experience is the same as dealracer, got it when the mail-ins where on. Great price, it works well. You just need to have freezer space for the bowl. We leave ours in the deep freezer all the time and it's ready when we need it. Good price, good buy.

I won't know for sure until I get the one I ordered and start experimenting...but my brother has one and swears by the recipe book The Perfect Scoop. He just made the toasted almond candied cherry ice cream and said it was amazing!

The ice cream maker works with all KA models doesn't it? Just asking as I noticed in the picture on the FS site that it has arms that look like they fit on the higher powered lift models.

Thanks op! My sister has one of these and uses it often but the $100-ish (or close) price tag was keeping me off buying it. Yay for healthy(ier?) treats in the summer!
