Isn't this old? The Clara HD goes for 109 when on sale.

I managed to get the h2o edition 2 for $120 on kijiji.

Is the internal memory on these a micro SD card like they used to be?
Nope, they are soldered nowadays...

What he means is that it will impossible to find that deal on Kijiji - I regularly look for ereaders and I've never seen one, and I just did a city-wide search for all Kobos and the best deal seems to be a used Glo for $105.

https://www.kijiji.ca/b-grand-montreal/ ... 02?dc=true

In all of Toronto, they are $109 new for a Clara:

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy GLO HD... Horrible, horrible thing...

I use a Glo HD daily and I have no apparent issues. What is horrible about it?

Clara for $109? When? I think I saw it a few weeks ago for $119. I looked a day later and it was back to $139. I’m gonna hold tight until I see it go to $119 or less.

I got 2 lemons back to back... [slow like hell, refresh "flashes" EVERY page turn, first one couldn't even keep settings after turning it of... etc...] All that series was revoked/canceled fast and for a reason, obviously.

You are lucky I'd say.

I went to visions and asked if they could do 109. They did it and I bought it.

Why do these e readers get slow? All they do is one task. They shouldnt age so terribly. Are epubs getting more resource intensive somehow?

Even a 2013 tablet reads PDFs , epubs, ebooks etc fine without slow downs and that's multi tasking machine.
