[Koodo] Koodo - $45 plan now with 400 min and 1GB data

I just notice a new double the minute and data promotion from Koodo. https://shop.koodomobile.com/plans/plans/index.html

The pricing is the same as the old one, but now the $45 plan has 100 more minute and 500MB more data! The $30 and $60 plan is the same as the previous promotion.
So those on the old $45 plan should definitely try to switch to this new one.

New Promo:
- 400 mins
- unlimited incoming
- EW@5pm
- 1GB
- txt/cid/vm

Old promo (http://forums.redflagdeals.com/koodo-ne ... a-1244673/):
- 300 mins
- unlimited incoming
- EW@5pm
- 500mb
- txt/cid/vm

Edit: This promotion has been extended to April 1, 2013.

This is a pretty good plan. With BYOP it should end up being $40.50 + tax.

Thanks, this looks very interesting. I'm on the $40 unlimited Wind plan now, but reception is so bad on my S2X that I can't use it in many stores and buildings. 400 daytime minutes for me is effectively unlimited, and while 1GB of data is hardly unlimited, it may be enough. I'll have to give this some consideration. I want to like Wind, but it's hard to like it when I get no reception in a location where I know I'd be just fine on Koodo/Telus.

I tried my damndest to live with Wind/Mobilicity for about a year but finally gave up with the lack of consistent coverage.

Good luck for not being over charge

can't believe how people think all these 1GB plan is a deal

contemplating about dropping my current fido plan

56$/m
Unlimited calling
unlimited txting
callerid/voice
2gb

for this one. I don't really use my phone much for calls and i'm willing to drop 1gb from my limit to save an extra 12$/m.

Unless fido does something to match this, I think i will move to koodo!

I'm on LTE and I barely go past 500mb/month.

Not everyone uses their phone to download/youtube while waiting for the bus
