They're definitely giving you the runaround to avoid switching you over. I got the free data with no change to imei and other people have said that agents over live chat on FB were able to give them the $60 plan with no new tab. Try calling to get someone else.

Was able to get my plan switched after a few calls. Hate the YMMV of different reps, wish there was something I could do to help reward the helpful ones.

I sent a Facebook message but got no response on the 10gb for $60 plan. I got a call from koodo today and was offered that plan, not sure if it was because of the FB message or if because I was browsing phones and plans to see if any phone would offer that plan. I was on the Chinese new year plan at $55 for 6gb with 1 bonus gb. I accepted the new plan immediately. Confirmed with rep still eligible for medium tab and that the plan wouldn't change unless I requested to change.

I also sent a message today but got no response. I'm hoping someone calls me. I'll probably call tomorrow if someone doesn't.

Website is under maintenance. Wondering if its actually that, or if they're preparing to launch an "unlimited" plan since Virgin will be doing the same

Ugh. tried twice today via chat - Both times got reps without a clue.

Wife's account only has the $75 offer - That's way to much data for her, so I just want the $50 or $60 plan, no one will play ball.

Also asked to add second line with $60/10GB plan. Also no deal.

Try calling them. I had no luck with chat and it took me a couple tries with different call agents before I got switched over. You can also try to escalate past the first person you speak with as they don't have as much leeway as retention support staff.
