I'm assuming the incoming minutes include long distance as well? say if my local calling area is toronto but I'm in waterloo and receive a phone call it wouldn't count towards my 250 daytime minuites?

it will count towards your 250 minutes if it's day time. it's Canada Wide Day Time minutes

Pretty decent.
Canada-wide minutes a big bonus and plan is well rounded for heavy users.

I'm a rather light user and rather save $10-20/mo
I'll be keeping my grandfathered $20 per/sec billing +datasaver addon (CID/VM free via L&R). If I can't get L&R to renew my free CID/VM, might switch to this plan, but at the end of the day, I'd rather save a few $$. Difference adds up to few hundred $$ over the course of a year :/

EDIT: nevermind I can't say for sure, but I imagine that since incoming calls are free that it would include long-distance incoming as well.

true, but our last cell contract with rogers is ending soon, and we will not be sticking with them

I'm thinking about that too. I could probably put the screws to Fido but I don't really see a point unless they give me 15-20 bucks/month off of the $60.

Okay, stupid question: in the link for mobilesyrup, it says "available for Blackberry and PDA". I assume it's available for all their android devices too, right? And what about iphone?

By PDA they meant smartphone, whoever leaked this , its from an internal email, so they called it PDA
Bring your iphone (unlocked or telus) to Koodo shop, they should set you up

Can you sign a 3 year contract with this plan to get subsided smartphone, like iphone, or it is just on Koodo tab, which obviously has less subsidy on phones.

I might pull the trigger on this too. For an extra $10 from the Canada Wide Data Plan, I get 100 more CW minutes, unlimited incoming calls, EW @ 5 P.M., and 5 extra GB.

i want a galaxy s3 but koodo doesn't offer those. would prob get iphone 4s assuming they offer discounted phones with contracts for new customers.
