Existing customers ok, it just has to be a new activation, meaning, if you are already on a home phone plan with Koodo, you can't switch to this promo

Does this work for home security alarm monitoring?

I'm wondering if I can get a new activation, and then transfer my existing Koodo home phone number to the new activation to extend my $5/mo deal

How long it takes to transfer number from bell? Order online only or can be picked up at kiosk?

I was on Rogers home phone and was going to cancel for this. Called in to their retention and they offered me 50% off for 2 years so I am at $6 a month now and didn't have the put out the $50. Rogers was a better deal for me.

Been on this for a year now. Very good service, never down and voice very clear. Have it hooked up to all my house phone Jacks, so all our old handsets work on all different floors.

Total steal with free Canada-wide calling which I don't get on my Public Mobile cell phone.
How did you hook it up to your existing phone jacks in your house?

Very simple: once you have shut down your landline, simply plug in the unit to any phone jack with a regular phone cable and automatically all your phone jacks are "live".

Where does it say 12 months only? I could see it on the site, also it only covers 2500 minutes of call forwarding then 50cents per minute but dont think alot of ppl use this alot but is it really for 12months only? What is the reg price after the promo?

Well, yes it will work anywhere in Cda - even though it is limited to certain province in terms of signup. But they have locked the SIM down to only work in the ZTE modem so you would still need a regular phone to plug into it.

Been with them since January. Good service like the others have mentioned. Draw backs: caller ID but no name id so you have to program your phone to lookup. Call waiting does not work sometimes. Also no real support except through email. Fax does not work
