Thanks OP. Just switched my prepaid account to the $20 promo. Kiosk was only able to offer 250mb for $2 but a rep over the phone gave me 500mb for $2 (ymmv). Im pretty pleased with this.

So, you are getting unlimited canada wide talk and text plus 500mb of data for $22 per month? And this is locked until you decide to change plans?

Did you call in after switching? Or did they hand the phone over to you while switching at the kiosk?

I'm very much on the fence right now. I only make 30-45 minutes of calls a month, and the only data I use is for MMS so my boosters last forever (dual sim phone with 3GB fido tablet plan). With the 10% auto top-up discount, I'm only spending around $18.50 before taxes per month. I might call slightly more often instead of texting for a few things if I had unlimited calling, but at $.05 per minute I'd have to make an additional 70 minutes of calling per month to hit the $22 mark.

I made the switch at the kiosk then went home and called in. The girl at the kiosk said she could only offer 250mb and suggested that i call myself.
