[Koodo] Koodo Mobile: New Extra Large Tab

I just noticed on koodo that their is a "new" Extra Large tab. I believe they changed the pricing

Extra Large: $720
Large: $480
Medium $360
Small: $240

Some examples:
Samsung S8+ = $100 upfront and $720 on tab
Samsung S8 = $0 upfront and $720 on tab (I believe THIS got more expensive)

And what’s the month addition to your plan for each tab?

$720 / 24mth = $30/mth
480/24 = 20
360/24 = 15
240/24 = 10

removed 504/24 = 21

For those who got in on the Public Mobile port over deal of $40 / 6GB... I am thinking that we qualify for small or medium tab deals?

I think $0 phones with an enormous $720 tab on top of an $80+ plan is just going to encourage more behaviour of people who can't afford flagship phones to sign up, believing they can afford it (in their distorted reality).

I also notice many of the Large Tab deals have more activation credits (higher discount) than the extra large tab. P.S. If this were to reverse, then cancellation on extra-large would serve more lucrative.

It could be more of a discussion thread, but the extra large tab looks like it could definitely open up the possibility of more phones being priced at $0 on that plan. So, in a sense its the precursor to a potential hot deal.

This is great information. However, it doesn't belong in the hot deals forum. It should be in the cell phone sub forum.

You can get up to Medium tab.
Some people just don't get that online forum posts shouldn't always be taken seriously.

Concur. Up to medium tab.
I tried adding a large tab but wouldn't let me keep my PM transfer plan and if I pick medium tab can keep plan but almost no activation specials.

To beable to be considered this new super large tab, you must own a home as a credit,

90% probally can't get this new tab.

I honestly think BYOD, small or Medium tab is the way to go. Paying more for your phone, but keeping the monthly cost down. Koodo in Ontario now has BYOD, small and medium tabs with 3GB/$48 and 6GB/$55 + a monthly discount and waived connection fee.
