[Koodo] LG G6 $240 on Tab Small

Here we go again. If an anti LG at any price type...move on.

But now the LG G6 is on small tab 10x24 mths. So $240 plus tax. No additional credits on this one.

Headphone jack and microsd on offer here. LG hasn’t been the best at updates. But at this price you are looking at a decent upper mid ranger at entry level prices.

Specs are per GSM Arena

I think this is a pretty good deal. I had one till the glass cracked on the back and got the Essential phone. I do miss the wide angle camera on the G6.

I have to admit I'm pretty much anti-LG since my LG G5 crumbled down, but OP thanked because @ $240 this is definitely a great deal.
Happy Koodo customer :-)

I have this phone for about a year and a half now. It was a good phone when it came out, but unfortunately, it just feels dated compared to other phones out there. The camera, while not bad, just can't match up to the cameras of today's phones. Android updates are slow to come by, and the overall performance is starting to show its age. At $240, it's a great price for a back up phone or a temporary one if you need something now while waiting for another flagship to go on sale. The wide angle camera is very nice to have though. Front facing camera leaves very little to be desired.

And before anyone says/asks, I never had bootloop issues that many experience on the G5.

I just got this phone for free from Telus. I have an old $65 plan that I didn't want to lose so I hadn't got a new phone in a while. They offered me the LG G6 for free and I could keep my plan, instead of the normal $85 plan required. I got the phone and gave it to my wife to replace her LG G4. She is super happy with it, the phone is very nice and still holds up very well today. So $240 on a tab seems like a pretty good deal overall.
That's 30 minutes away, I'll be there in 10.

I'm definitely not anti-LG. Had the G2 forever and it held up very well. However the LG G7 One will likely be $0 with medium tab ($360) shortly with fast android updates for Black Friday.

what does 3rd party rom offer nowadays?
I remember way back I used them because the stock was so stuffed with bloat.
But with my phones from recent years, they seem to come pretty clean.
Plus my G5 got Oreo not too long ago too.

These days, not a whole lot. You can still get great ad blocking via root, but one positive is that many custom ROMs tend to still support the device much longer than the manufacturer. In your case, Android 9 (pie) has been built for the G5 on XDA.

When was this $0 upfront on tab small? It was $0 upfront on tab Medium last year, but I don't think ever on small. It's now $160 less when you factor in taxes on the medium tab.
