I've never had that happen. IT's always level 1 who calls you back. Then they try to talk you out of things and then if you insist, they will transfer you over. However, more likely, they will arrange a call back for the loyalty team to call you at a later date.

You get taxed on the tab, so it’s actually $1795 v/s $1536
Either way, if it works for you, then it’s a good deal. I would rather have a $40 plan, and save the same amount over 2 years, but that’s just me.
Rogers - $40/105gb 5G+ CAN-US
Bell Fibe 1Gbps - $49.95
Bell Fibe 1Gbps - $49.95

Signed up for Koodo today, ported my number from freedom. Originally chose 55$ - 4Gb plan. As soon as the number ported called customer service where they wouldn't do anything for me. Eventually spoke to retention. Got offered 55$ with 13Gb. Got a lot of pushback cause it's a brand new account. Pretty happy after all. Spent about 30 min altogether.

That plan isn't being offered anymore though. I'd be all over it if it wasHustlePeters wrote: ↑ Screen Shot 2019-11-28 at 9.04.55 PM.png

What are the odds Koodo will match Freedom's BYOD 9GB/$50mo plan?

Wait - so are people pretty much just calling into Koodo, asking to transfer to loyalty, and then just asking upfront for $65/20GB or whatever plan you're interested in?

The only way to call koodo's rep is setting up a callback through their virtual chat?

Sadly yes. You might try using Skype with an out of North America number to see if you can reach a human that way.
No. Info on RFD, maybe in this thread too.john.canad wrote: ↑ currently have $60/12 GB - is this already the best deal for this amount of data?

So you're a new customer who called in to loyalty and you just asked for what they could do to make your plan better or were you like, asking for the specific plans posted on RFD?andrew_canada wrote: ↑ I'm sure you can get better, but for a brand new customer they didn't want to budge, they admitted that they have loyalty plans but that was the best they could do.

Was offered $45 for Canada-wide minutes, 6GB, and 1000 LD International Minutes with loyalty department by quoting Virgin's $45 6GB and Freedom's $45 10GB plans. Also negotiated a Samsung S10e for $0 upfront and Tab Medium.

I mentioned Fido's 50$-15Gb plan, asked what they could offer. They gave me two choices: 55$13Gb or 60$ 18Gb.
