The $45 plan is available only in Quebec. I wish had it here in Ontario.

When you consider that it is an unlimited talk plan and that the 300mb plan is only $2 cheaper. I would say an unl/500mb plan would cannibalize the lower plan so I think that isn't a typo.

Thank God for the 2013 holidays 55$ 3gb plan... I'm still on that and pretty happy.

I'm waiting for something to beat it.

I would rather scam my way into the SK plan if I were ever to go with Koodo.

OK...the sad part is even if it is unl/500mb, still not hot, god the plans now suck so bad

Cold, I pay $30 for:
- 150 daytime mins
- 7PM evenings
- Unlimited text
- 200 MB (extra is 0.025$/MB, or $5/200MB)

That's cold also. There were recent hot deals of $36 for unlimited talk and with 1GB Data.

Ah, I didn't see that. But anyway, I never go over my minutes and rarely go over my data (wifi available most of the time).

You can't really compare the plans you have in Victoria and the plans available in Qc. Though not a great deal, this deal is still 'decent'. There is no point in comparing because providers are different and thus offer varying offers depending on the province.

Wonder why Koodo dropped what I have , the $45 Unlimited canada wide / 1GB . This is worst than before .Seems carriers regress all the time

Yeah, well that was before the 2 year CRTC rule. Therefore, this is why it was less expensive. Now with the 45$ you get 750MB which is near what we had before. I to have this 45$ 1Gb/ultd plan and will never change it. Just thought that if someone's looking for a plan right now, this is what I'd suggest him!

Yes Koodoo and Fido both raised the 1GB unlimited plan to $50, with Byod its now $45.
I pay $36 for this but I won't be able to keep all my credits for much longer but I'm certainly not going to give up this plan to get a phone and a new "in market" plan.
Seems like the Oligopoly on cell phone providers in Canada is once again restored and they have decided to raise rates but I think they did these already a few months ago. The koodoo plans are "slightly better" than fido, wonder what Fidos response will be.

But Koodo never had plans , it's all a tab system .They could easily just raise the tabs and bring down plan prices but what am I saying ..Koodo is Telus lol .Only better deal is now Public Mobile which has similar offer as old Koodo one ( if you're part of beta and get the %10 off for 12 months )

Koodo always did contracts. It was just a tab payout system as opposed to subsidy divided over 36 months. This actually affects them more than anyone because it forces all tabs to be cleared out in 2 years which is quicker than most tabs used to be. As for Fido, it is a terrible excuse for them since they did 2 years contracts already before the CRTC ruling kicked in...

If you're referring to the Zoomer deal, it was 400 mins not unlimited.
