alrighty ... looks like i need to do a self referral ...

i see that the referral system asks for an email address and full name.
I can use one of my spare email address ... but can i use my own name ?

i mean ... i already have an account with koodo with my name on it ... and now i m going to refer myself ... but using a different email address ... will this work?

Yes that's fine. Only the email has to be different.
If you're using Gmail, then use same name, and send the referral to youremail+1@gmail.com (after the '+', put whatever you want). If you ever want to refer out from the new line you'd be activating today, remember to grab the referral link from the same email (youremail+1@gmail.com or whatever you used). Then you can continue to do selfies :D

Yes, it would appear so. Though I'm cancelling my account when my 90 days are up, so that remaining $200 or so will have no use for me (they don't refund those credits via cash). Unless they offer me a tab discount on another phone right away, that I can apply that credit towards when cancelling. But I don't see that happening since my account will only have been with them for 90 days. Lol.

Nope, that was $200 on *top* of the $300 in referral credits that had already been applied to my account. So I dunno WTF happened.

just curious about this ... if my tab was $240 and I managed to earn $300 worth in referral credit ... the extra positive $60 sitting in my tab won't be cashable when cancelling the account?

Nope. Per the terms & conditions: "Referral rewards are bill credits only and carry no cash value if deactivating your Koodo account." And just to be clear, it's not "in your tab", it's just a bill credit on your account.

Up to six weeks. I'm getting a bit spooked about this. Until June, I always received my refer a friend credits quickly. I have not yet received any since my three LG G4's from June. Gonna keep an eye, the six week mark is rolling in a few days for the first LG G4 I took...

I hear that it does. But why use up one of your Koodo lines on a Koodo home phone when you can stock up on smartphones? For the first 90 days you're capped at three lines, but after that, you can burst up to five or six Koodo lines.

Mine (from the Mother's Day G5 promo) were about 7 weeks for the first one to show up. Then a bunch all at once.

It happens. As long as the credits are confirmed, we can expect to see them roll in.

Going to refer a family member who wants it, I just want the 50$. This should max out my 300$ referral limit for the year, might have to open an entirely different line to keep on going, lol.
