Make sure you unlock the bootloader, and install a custom ICS rom on there. (I recommend bugless beast)

He meant that Wind is selling the Nexus S for $249 but the AWS bands are different between the Wind version and the Rogers version.

I dunno.Brand new S2 for 70 - 80 dollars more on craigslist is doable. I had a $400 bnib bell S2 ready to buy so I can get rid of my 4s, which can't come soon enough, but I decided to wait to see how the S3 looks before I decide.

Best price for an AWS Nexus S (excluding kijiji/CL) is probably from Mobilicity currently....@ 300 + tax (some dealers are offering $50 Visa Gift-Cards for new activations).

I have been phone-less for a few weeks and need to decide whether to go with WIND, Koodo or Virgin...I think I'd jump ship on Wind if I found a brand new sealed nexus s for $250 + tax.

I'm very happy with Koodo for my needs - 2 lines for <$75 all-in (100 mins = 7pm eve+wknds; free calls to other lines on the account; per-second billing; Canada-wide LD; unlimited texting, CID, & VM; included "roaming" on the Telus/Bell network). My only beef is their crappy Android selection.

I'd love to have taken advantage of this deal but if it's really dead I'll either follow kmchow's lead and buy new for $300 + taxes or go with an Amaze/Optimus LTE/GSII/Razr on CL for ~$400. My Optimus 1 needs to be put out to pasture...

I doubt it, you gotta call and inquire. They were super rare to find in stock in Ontario and I think BC may have been screwed over as may we not have even gotten any at all!! I was on a waiting list and never got a call. The CSR was smart enough to direct all complaints to the Koodo forum, but to no avail.

Probably not... the Nexus S has been replaced by the LG Optimus Black. Maybe if you'r lucky you'll be able to find one somewhere but I'm pretty sure they're all gone.

koodo in st vital mall has a couple nexus S still for 299 brand new not refurbs no contract.. She said they should be 250$ to get rid of them next week.
