Is there like no way we can have one thread only for Koodo?

This is being offered for $100 down online on self service right now with a $150 bill credit for people who already ported

This isn't a deal.

There isn’t. Also op you should call in and ask for a $150 credit. Everyone else has been getting $200 tab medium with $150 credit

It’s $200 online for tab medium. It’s $100 for tab large with $200 credit

I just bought the essential phone 2 weeks ago in store, do you think I'd be able to get the credit? Has anyone here done it?

Koodo website showing the same thing on medium tab. You also get $150 off your first bill. (if you received the offer on your self service account)

I think the online deal is better.

$200 with medium tab ($360 over 2 two years). Plus you get a $150 bill credit which is the equivalent of $133.92 pretax here in BC ($150/1.12 for GST/PST - as it's a credit on your bill, it doesn't lower the price of your phone, which means you still pay tax on the total, not the total - 150). So by my math that's $560-$133.92=$426.08 pretax. (A little bit more if you live in a different province with higher hst/gst/pst or whatever).

That seems pretty good? Especially considering the s9 costs twice as much and it's only a little bit better?

Do only current customers of Koodo get this additional bill credit? Or can I port from PM to Koodo and get the credit at the same time as the $100 credit with the port?

I think you have to port over first. I ported over last week and can see the deal, but it doesn't show up if I'm not logged in.

The offer says good until April 1st, so port first then wait for the offer. In one of the other threads, it seems like the offer is to people that have been with Koodo for at least 7 days.

How do you tell which phones you get the bill credit from? Is it all phones? I see the offer alert, but not sure which phones it applies to.

Its not, but if you do it online you also get $150 bill credit, which brings the phone down to below $450 before tax.

I'm currently a Koodo customer and have the $48 Unlimited minutes/messaging, 5GB plan. Would I have to change my plan to take advantage of this offer? Is there any way I can keep my current plan?

Only way to find out is if you try to get this phone online (make sure it says you get $150 credit). If the system lets you do a tab medium while keeping your plan then you’re good.

Is that a good price with the s9 coming out soon? Craigslist people are asking 600 for bnib S8s, for comparison. I want to get the Essential for $210. Is this worth the $240 premium, for better resale value, waterproofing, camera, etc?
