seems you got to spend atleast 20 bucks on a plan for a month to get the gift card in the mail within 4-6 weeks.

1 month of service is not bad, $20+ tax and just cancel it and pay off tab, so ~$75-off that makes it around ~$225 for a S2X which is pretty good. Unlock and works on Wind/Mobilicity.

Loblaw's stores no tax event again this weekend. If RCSS is participating, then I would put $0 on tab and save an extra $19.50 in taxes. You might even luck out and they'll let you apply $100 towards the phone right away like last time.

True but if you're really on a tight budget, might want to consider a cheaper phone given this is more of a luxury item than an item you truely "need" as any cell phone would (for the most part) do the job. Even something like the Galaxy Ace (example) would do most of the stuff this phone does and cost less.
