Let the pricing war begin with Koodo and Fido again!

Hang on a second...aren't those prices ONLY if you buy a phone?

Canada-wide Tab Plus
When you buy a phone with Tab Plus, you'll need to choose from these exclusive plans.*

or else it's $50 for 2 gigs
$60 for 5 gigs

with no phone purchase?

Or is this page written horribly (such as it saying Free Evenings and Weekends, but you have UNLIMITED CALLING).

Why is Ontario not able to get comparable deals?
Because Ontario doesn't have any of these:
Videotron Mobile
SaskTel
Wind Mobile

60$ is a BYOD price

if you get a phone, you need to add whatever TAB that phone has (iPhone 6 is +21$ = 81$/months)

Not bad, but these are pretty much the current Fido prices minus $21 to make them BYOD plans. Also, Rogers share everything plans are similarly priced when choosing BYOD and only province wide calls. However, Rogers gives you free NHL GCL for this year and a choice between Spotify, Showmi and Texture free for 2 years.

So the Title of this thread is wrong....booooo it's $60 for 5 gigs. Or $81 a month for an iPhone 6s ($21 a month plus $59 a month for the plan).

So this koodo deal is...
$5 cheaper a month than Fido's 5 gig plan (byod).
$3 cheaper a month than Fido's 2 gig plan (byod).

Not as crazy as the $35 QC price war last month :)

That's what I want to know too. Hopefully someone who isn't lazy gives them a call to find out and passes on their findings! lol

I went to their customer service forum...yeah it's $59 IF YOU BUY A PHONE, so the title of this thread is not correct. You can only get $59 with 6 gigs IF YOU BUY A PHONE ON A TAB.

It's $60 for 5 gigs if you bring your own phone.

Plus the cost of the tab. Oh well, not worth it.
