Koodo win back deal - BYOD 10Gb/Unlimited Canada Wide for $55

I was a Koodo customer a couple years ago but left to Fido during the whole $60/10gb madness the other year. Everyone just raised their prices on the $60/10gb plans, but Koodo called me last night and offered a $55/10gb win back price for BYOD.

No bonus data, it's a straight 10gb with unlimited Canada Wide calling and texting and all the usual add-on calling features. Activation fee will be credited back to me too.

Anyone else getting this deal, or had any luck calling and asking for it? I know some others who left Koodo at the same time and would definitely signup again if they could get it. Didn't see any mentions on here of this exact one yet.

I've never heard of Koodo making winback calls so it must be something new.

I did - SIM card is in the mail. Can't seem to setup my online account until I get the SIM and wrap up activation though, which will likely be in the next couple days.

Koodo must be feeling the heat! However that's pretty smart/sneaky of them while everyone else is raising the price on the 10gb plan.

This is a winback offer you at least have to be a previous Koodo customer to have a chance to get the call.

I came over to Koodo from Telus last month when they raised the 10GB plan to $70. My current plan is 6GB/$50 but I would much rather go back to 10GB. Obviously "win back" would not apply to me but it would be awesome if they started extending this to other customers as well.
Koodo: 12GB/$55 (-$5/month discount for 24 months, then $60/month)

agreed, am looking to switch from Telus with my S8 if they do not offer a retention plan comparable to other BYOD plans..i only use 5 or 6gb...10gb would be overkill but this is still a good deal

I was offered 10gb/$60 from Koodo when I called to cancel after buying a new phone on tab last week.

Still no proof?
Details of the plan were given in my original post. If there's a specific feature you need to know more about just ask.

When I called to port my number yesterday after the SIM came in the mail, I ended up with a Telus guy who was doing the port because they were having some phone issues or something like that he explained. Even he was rather surprised at the offer of 10GB for under $60, which seems to be a more typical retention pricepoint I guess. He also mentioned, probably by mistake, the existence of some sort of $45 win back package too, but didn't give any further details after slipping up! He did say mine was the better of the two packages in his opinion though. Have to wait and see if anyone surfaces with the $45 plan, I'm curious what it includes too.

Do you have a screenshot that shows $55 10 GB? The thread does not help anyone unless there is proof that can be shown to reps.
When they get my online account fixed I'll give one. I think reactivating the old account has unfortunately broken my login, which has a ticket open with tech to be fixed up.
