Kudo's to Kitchener City Council - Relaxing of some Parking Restrictions

As per attached link, Kitchener is going to allow boulevard parking on portion of a home's driveway:

Moved to Milton and didn't realize they had this.
It's such an eye sore, especially when you see 2 car garage homes and the car isn't parked in the garage.

But that's just me being whiny. As long as it doesn't obstruct drivers views, it's pretty much needed for homes that can only fit 2 cars.

Looks trashy, ruins lawns which people don't fix and encourages multi-resident rentals.

Not to mention often drivers cover some of the sidewalk, posing hazards to pedestrians.

Thankful not in my neighbourhood.

I've seen people renting garages to live in. Sad but it's the state of our economy/housing market.
