Laggy Iphone?

So lately i've been noticing my iphone has been a bit laggy..

Whenever I click a button it takes 1-5 seconds to go to that screen.. Or do the option I selected it too..

Its not every time.. it happens here and there..

Anyone else getting this?

the only lag i get is occasionally from the contact list. unless you're exaggerating, 5 seconds is definitely too long though

It's actually 2.0 that is causing this for some reason. Wait for a new firmware, that should fix the problem. I'm sure Apple knows, and they are working on it.

How do I know? Well my friend she installed 2.0 on her 1st-gen iPhone and I asked her if it lagged she said yes. So I've come to a conclusion that it is a software issue.

Maybe not 5 seconds..
5 seconds may have happened 1-2 times..
One time my phone froze for about 2 minutes..

Other than that its between 1-3

the iPhone lags for me as well. Everytime I go into contacts it lags and my safari would anonomously quit. Also, the text input seems a bit laggy. The phone would occasionally freeze when a person tries to call u when ur using an app. As well, the phone freezes when installing certain apps. I hope the new firmware will make things faster. I'm typing this from my iphone.

I was playing with a coworker's iPhone the other day and noticed the lag too; about a second or two. My old iPhone 2G rarely had issues with lag. Hopefully they'll update it soon. It is quite bothersome.

Have noticed this aswell, like when trying to click the search field in safari or google maps. Sometimes it takes 2-3 secs for the keyboard to pop up.

Other things some times seem like they freeze for a few secs too then start working again.
