Is this laptop from BestBuy any good?
Hi, so my current laptop is nearly dead and I'm looking to buy a new one. The Asus A6-3420 is on sale this week for 479.99 (regular 599.99). I don't do any type of gaming or anything, just for school and things like Photoshop, watching movies, and well, perhaps once in a while my little brother likes to play those children CD games. Got any advice? Thanks !

It's a good, light gaming laptop from a top rated laptop manufacturer. It's pretty well loaded with 8 GB and a large HDD. It's screen is 1366x768 which is typical of many of the budget priced laptops. Higher rez laptops with at least 1600x900 are less common.....this higher rez is only available in higher priced laptops.

It looks pretty good as long as the graphics card is dedicated 1 gig, the processor is slower than intels i3/i5 that is why I did not go for AMD this time - http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...u,2959-16.html

I think it is a pretty good laptop for the price. It has a decent gpu that probably can play bf3 at low setting and diablo 3 at med to high.
