Laptop comparison

Hello,

I'm looking to buy a new laptop for around $800. I have found one on sale with Best buy right now. It's a HP Pavilion 16.0" Laptop featuring Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4200 (DV6-1038CA) on sale for $799

I also found an laptop from Memory express on sale for $749 with similar specs. Acer Aspire 6920-6508 w/ Core 2 Duo T5750, 4GB, 250GB, DVD+/-RW, 16in WXGA, Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

Can anyone tell me which would be a better purchase or if i should steer clear of both. Thanks for any input.

I am also looking for a laptop, basically for java programming. Did u decide which is a good one out of above two or did find any other good laptop.

If you know a recent good deal, can you share that.
