Last night around 6:30PM on Northbound 427 express...
There was a flatbed truck loaded with glass that wasn't secured properly, owned by SurLite glass, who sprayed a lot of broken glass all over a few lanes, and all over my car. I've got some pretty sizeable scratches and chunks missing out of my bumper/hood/headlight/roof.
I made a police report immediately after getting off the highway, but what are the odds I can get this company to pay the damages? Anyone else affected by this?

this comprehensive claim won't affect your rating.
if i were u though, i would've called the glass company THAT instant and started yelling and demanding retribution. THEN i call my insurance company and have them fix my car. Using the money from the glass company to pay the deductible, my car gets fixed, and I pocket the rest._______________ITEMS FOR SALE

Nope, premiums never go up under comprehensive.
What can happen is if you have an excessive number of claims they may force you to a higher deductable or they can deny you coverage outright. But those are usually quite extreme cases like say trees falling on your car every other month.

You should at least try to get enough for your deductible from the glass company. If not, start threatening to sue for damages, ect.

remember to get the plate number of the truck. Or a pix of the truck from your phone cam as proof.
