Laundry in the cold room
Does anyone have a Laundry in the cold room?
Do I need to insulate it, put drywall and heating, or just drywall and insulation is suficcient, or can I just leave it open? It does not seem to go below 0 and I would prefer to leave it open due to moisture issues. It will still be closed with a door to seal the cold.....
Any advice?
Thanks!

It will be expensive to do. You should ensure that it is waterproof, insulate (used closed cell spray foam or roxul), mould proof drywall over bluewood studs, add heating (electric or a run from your furnace), electrical circuits for washer, dryer and lighting, run plumbing (get the floor drain and any required venting per code maybe very costly) and drill for the dryer vent.
Personally I do not think it is worth it for the cost involved. If you do not insulate, your plumbing and washer may freeze.
