Laurier - General Economic

Hi everyone,
I am currently in General Economic 2nd year (3 years program).
I am just wondering if the degree is really useless or what.
Will it be so hard to find a job in a business field ?

Thanks for your help

combine that arts degree with an MBA and you will be fine.

why not 4 year? Most of the top econ kids at WLU are Econ/Accounting or Econ/Finance. Your job prospects become way better.

My brother did a 3-year General Arts Economics degree at WLU.

Now he's a CA at Deloitte.

your brother lies, no way in three years could do the courses to become a CA. You would only be able to take Intermediate Accounting 1 and 2. In 3 years.

After finishing his 3 year degree, he did whatever accounting courses he needed to get his CA.
