Wow, that's way lower than at my law school...
Silly question: when you say avg. age 26, is that the avg age of a student? or of an ENTERING student?
At my school, the avg. age of an entering student was 26, so the average age of a student should be 27.5... but I would expect U of C to have a younger class.

Exactly, I thought so too! Instead of guessing I got the exact stats from the UC Law Faculty...
I was correct about the ave. age 26 y.o.
Age range is 20-44 y.o.
The ave. undergrad GPA is 3.55/4.00.
Percentage of sutdents w/o degree: 1%!
Percent of students w/ Bachelors degree: 91%
Pecent of students with Masters/Ph.D: 8%_______________

I'm also thinking about applying to Law School. I'm doing a Psychology degree at UTM but I wonder what I can do with the Psych degree if I don't get into Law School.

How much public speaking do you do in law school?
If someones hates public speaking, should they go to law school?

Grade 10 is an awful long time away from law school. Funny things happen to kids when they get older, they start making decisions own their own... most of which are wrong... but hey... kids.
That said BA for an undergrad is a complete waste of time/money. You want something to fall back on to if law school doesn't work. A BA isn't it.Last edited by Knitecrow; Sep 22nd, 2009 at 08:44 AM.

She should follow her gut instinct.
She reads about the programs that are available and she picks one that she likes. If it's a BA, then go for it.
Mediocre marks are not good enough. High marks are needed to get into law school.
