On a 60ft wide lot, you can only engage self propel for 45 ft at a time.

The rest of the time, the mower has to be manually pushed regardless of whether you have self propel or not.

Is it really worth saving 15 steps ?

Most people's lots are smaller than 60 ft wide, so the self propel savings are even less

Has anyone seen any lawn mowers with foldable handles lately?

My father in law has a Cub Cadet with a Honda engine and foldable handle. He got it for well under $400 a couple years ago. That's exactly what I'm looking for but they don't seem to exist anymore...

Only lawn mowers I can find with foldable handles are at Home Depot starting at $550 (Toro).

Bought this Kobalt electric cordless mower yesterday at Lowes:
https://www.lowes.ca/lawn-mowers/kobalt ... balt-mower

It's on sale this week. $100 OFF. I purchased online and coupon code for an extra $25 off popped up on checkout.

Snapper and Greenworks are cousins of the Kobalt. You can read some reviews:

How well do cordless lawn mowers cope with thick, spring grass?

I have not tried it yet. Waiting for grass to grow. Here is a youtube review. Play it at 2:30 minute mark:

Thanks. Looks decent enough though the side-discharge is open. It would be good to know how well it works in full mulching mode.

I don't think you would let your grass grow that long in between cuts. That testimonial video gives me hope that my new lawnmower will work just fine.
