Maybe consider swapping [Warm] with [LCBO]

Less angry people
When given enough time, all threads on RFD can and will go off on a tangent.

It’s a sad day when $6 off anything is a good deal lol but it’s alcohol and we’ve been trained to pay top dollar for it, I will be picking one up. Thanks OP

This versus Ardbeg 10?

Ardbeg is 100 isn't it ? So not the same range of whisky. Laphroaig is probably more smokey, but has a salty sea like finish to it. Ardbeg on the other hand is pure campfire, I will ardbeg close to lagavulin 16.

Bought this and compared it side by side with the Laphroaig Quarter Cask (yes slightly more money) and I have to say I prefer to QC, it is just a smoother scotch but still has the smoky and peaty campfire you want.

I actually had a glass of each last night (inspired by this thread Smiling Face With Open Mouth). To me the difference in smoothness isn't very big (but that's possibly just because of how long I've been drinking whisky/ey), but the QC is definitely more creamy and luscious, and the 10 is lighter/thinner. They both have Laphroaig's characteristic coal-smoke aspect (vs. the wood-smoke aspect of Lagavulin for example). I was already a fan of the 10 when the QC was introduced, and for a while thought I liked the QC more, but now I think I like each of them more depending on what I'm in the mood for.

Yes I would never refuse the 10 year if it was given to me.

laphroaig 10 (also known as Smoke Monster) is a nice choice if you like peat, it packs a punch and is a good introduction to the islay region.
