The closest would be Distiller's safe, but they should all be better then JW red

Umm you can get the same size bottle of crown Crown royal for $30. Am I missing something here? How was is priced at 100$ before?

C'mon, do you really not understand different levels of quality? Every single product that is commonly made has different tiers of quality, and thus value, from cars to steaks to computers to underwear.

Don't forgot Crown royal as well.

You can pay $60 for a crown royal special reserve or $70 for the wine barrel finished Noble collection, instead of paying $30 for the regular run of the mill crown royal

blenders dog is solid, nice reviews to boot. coopers is the oakier of the 3 if that's your thing, distillers I would skip unless you are buying all 3.

Alberta Premium is actually pretty good for the price, doesn't have that complex taste to it, but it goes down straight, ez and gets the job done, i actually think it's better then Crown, another good one to go on the cheap is Centennial 10 Year Old Rye

Anyone know if these are being discontinued?
I'm probably going to grab one of each for my collection, but if they're going away then I might have to grab more to have down the road.

100% rye grain and been that way since forever -- great budget rye.

Distiller's Safe: Lightest, purest form of the distillate, very nuanced, a little creamy.

Cooper's Croze: My favourite, this has great oak flavours, very rich, complex, good depth of flavour.

Blender's Dog: It'd be unfair to say this is a mix of the two previous but it does sit in the middle, well rounded, full flavour, doesn't ask too many questions. Most whiskey drinkers would be happiest with this.
