LCD monitor with "rainbow" problem
some guy is giving me his non-working 19" lcd monitor for free, I ask him "what's wrong with it?" and he says "the image on the screen is like a rainbow" is it possible to fix this? if not does this monitor still have value or a use? thx

Why don't you wait until you actually see it for yourself before posting. Why waste people's time based on what "some guy" told you?

Plug the monitor in and see for yourself.
Maybe take a picture of the problem and show us.

Your monitor has a preference for the same sex? Or perhaps is suffering an attack from Care Bears?
Really, a "rainbow" is not descriptive enough for anybody to help you. When you recieve the monitor, try to give a better description or pictures.
