The refs don't give a crap about what you say about the rules, the NHL don't give a crap about you either, and most of all, neither does Lupul. So you can take your links to the dictionary, wikipedia, another dictionary - (geez dude you spent what, 5-10 minutes looking all of this up? I spent 10 seconds getting that link from the Leaf's website) - and yet another dictionary and shove it. It means **** and has no merit because the results of the game is what counts. Your links and argument means crap, because the game is done and over with, goal counted and Leafs won, the Leafs got 2 points and Oilers got 0.

Its a better 2nd period, but need to KISS. Keep it simple stupid, I think they're too fancy with the passing. Right now they need to get gritty against a more dominating team, wear them down on the grinding plays.
