Hawkins already disproved time travel simply by stating theres nobody coming from the future to now, just because something may happen in the future doesnt mean it couldnt affect its past, which is now. Make sense? Whos to say were not living in the time period where the future people make their journey to. :)

Maybe they are here, but in the future, humanity is much more civilized, and they've created strict guidelines on time travel, which include not revealing yourself and your abilities to the people of the past.
So, it's quite possible that there are people from the future here, and we just don't know it. Hell, I may even be from the future._______________

If your from the future, who are your parents? are they alive today for you to exist? sounds like a paradox. and when we're talking about these strict guidelines, can they be held for thousands, maybe millions of years of people from the future not making their own time travel devices to 'cheat' these strict guidelines. alot of rules change in a thousand years, even if there are strict guidelines inplace, they'd eventually get nulled when we're talkin infinte time.LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked bigdaddyyc for this post.

Well if you know about the multiverse theory and time travel paradox, one could assume that it would be like the tv show "Sliders". You cannot go through time, back or forwards and end up in your exact same timeline, you'll end up in a timeline that is similar, but slightly different. Someone who explains it well is a guy who claimed to be a time traveller named John Titor. Read up on him, whether you believe it or not doesn't matter, its just fun to read. The way he describes it is the way I imagine it would work. Basically the farther forward or back you go the more different that timeline would be from yours._______________
