Leather Executive Chair $99: XS Cargo Woodbridge
I saw the above and picked it up from XS Cargo in Woodbridge.
This is overstock from Staples.
It is leather on all sides and both arm rests (not just the front) The seat is adjustable up and down. Silver accents. Really good lumbar and neck support. Solid cushioning. Very nice looking.
Typically I am really hesitant to buy anything from XS Cargo, but the Woodbridge location seems to have quite a decent section (lots of crap, too, but some really good stuff)
I have been shopping around for a home office leather chair for some time now, most comparable ones are $200 and up.
$99 was a steal for this. They have a few in stock, but I can't imagine them lasting for long.

That chair is in their flyer and it is not bad but how long it will last that is the answer I want to find out.

Fair enough. Same thought crossed my mind.
To be honest, the quality was the same, if not better than most I saw at Staples, with the exception of the Sealy / Serta ones.
I don't think there is a guarantee with any of the Staples ones.
I am pretty satisfied and am pretty picky because of back problems.

The chair has faux leather that could explain its $99 price, also Staples chairs have a limited life time warranty. I believe this chair is always at XS Cargo since the Woodbridge store has 36 in stock right now.

I don't think we are talking about the same chair. The one I purchased is definitely real leather.
Again, not sure about Staples, are you sure all Staples chairs have a limited lifetime warranty? Is that what justifies the $100+ price differential?

It seems like your describing this chair: http://www.shopxscargo.com/product_c...=Home%20Office. Also if you use a $20 off $150 coupon you can get a leather chair from staples right now for $159, the Serta task chair was on sale for $140 a few weeks ago with a coupon.

I saw the Serta Task Chair and didn't like it. Also, it is a mid-back and I was looking for a high back with neck support. (Also, the price is now $239.99 and I needed it now)
The cheapest Staples leather highback I saw was $176.99 and the cushioning and finishing was not as appealing.
Yes, the XS cargo one is the same however, even the website says leather. The insert in the box also indicated 100% real leather.

this chair at 69.99 seems like a good deal, I doubt the Staples one will be much better quality than it. I bought an office chair from XS Cargo before, it was around 100-150 for a high back leather chair and it was made by Samsonite, a similar chair at Staples would have cost 300-400, I was more than satisfied with that chair and I still have it, I've been using it for quite a few years...

It is. I needed one now, so this was a steal for me. I can see why it hasn't been reduced in price.

I just picked this chair up ( http://www.shopxscargo.com/product_c...=Home%20Office )
It seems good quality. The display label at XS Cargo as well as the instructions inside both state that it's made of real leather, but I doubt it, doesn't look nor smell like real leather.
One problem I had is that the two metal plates that are screwed in to the underside of the chair end up overlaping eachother. The manual clearly shows that they don't overlap, and I don't think they should. I'm not sure if because of this it may affect the lifespan because in the past the chairs I buy always seem to develp cracks in the metal at around that point. I wonder if the reason XS Cargo is carrying this product is because of the mismatched size of the two plates.

Mine was perfect. You should go back to XS to exchange.
