I have no idea but for myselft I have had the same spearkes for about 7 years now and I don't think that I have ever turned them off. They seem to work just as good now as they did when I bought them.

Leaving speakers on a bad thing?
Is it bad to leave speakers on all the time? Do they wear out if they're used more?

I don't know about you guys, but I like turning it off. Even if the difference is negligable, I still don't like the idea of wasting power and depreciation.

You also risk shorting out your equipment if powers goes out and everything turns back on when youre not home. Sort of how they say turn off all your lights when the power goes out. Myself I don't like the white noise when speakers are left on.
