LED "EXIT" Sign (for fire code)

Hello,

I am looking to purchase a EXIT SIGN that uses LED lighting. These are the signs that are located in all commercial areas that notify users of the nearest exit in the event of an emergency.

Anyone know where I could purchase one?

Any commercial electrical supply house will carry these.

I exit signs at a RONA yesterday. I don't think you could find an incandescent exit sign anymore; CSA C860 requires exit signs consume no more than 5W per word displayed, which effectively mandates the use of LEDs in exit signs.

Thank you to each one of you!

To be honest, I never thought of looking at Home Depot. I always think "household" when I go. As per electrical supply stores, unfortunately their hours are too rigid for me.

MacGyver: This is a perfect use for LED technology. Something that must stay on at all times!

Homedepot works. I had to pick on up from there a while back when my building owners refused to follow policy and put one up. Didn't feel like arguing with the company over it when I had the government telling me it had to be done.
