How much did you get it for? And did you get the 1080p IPS screen *drool*? I'm not sure if the Canadian site has it but I would hope so.korokke wrote: ↑I doubt that a similarly configured x230 has been cheaper in the past but that doesn't make this one a good deal. I don't know what Lenovo is thinking... Pricing a model (which is about to be phased out) just a bit cheaper than the x240.
I had an X61, have an X200 and was ready to upgrade to an x230 but I decided to jump ship and move to a T440s.

FYI. This is the model I ended up going with. It was $30 more than the other one I had listed but has the better wireless card and comes with the 24GB SSD cache drive. Delivery should be next week. $899 is still the current price on the EPP site.bkustra wrote: ↑Any other thoughts on the 59405661 at $899? I'm close to pulling the trigger but haven't been paying enough to computer specs in the last year or so. Looks to be overkill for my needs (mostly Dota 2) but it might be the best deal on a gaming laptop this Black Friday.

That's Lenovo for you! I've seen better deals from them even before Black Friday/Cyber Monday. I thought they would do better.
