[Lenovo Canada] Lenovo Annual Sale: HOT! Lenovo Ideapad 730s whiskey lake i5-8265U/FHD/8G/128G/1.1kg $746.29 from Lenovo EPP

Lenovo Annual Sale Extended Hours! Talk to a Sales Specialist: 1-855-253-6686 SAT: 10AM-6PM | SUN: NOON-5PM ET

As of Marth 18, only 81JB0007US: i5-8265U Processor with 256GB Solid State Drive and 8 GB LPDDR3 is in stock. Disappointed But Relieved Face

If you missed last deal in January of this Ultra Portable @2.43 lbs (1.1 kg), now it is back!

Please note that this is FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS glossy screen, NOT 4K. If that's what you want, look at the current XPS 13 deal at Microsoft store.

RAM is soldered on motherboard so not upgradable.
SSD can be upgraded easily by removing 9 Torx screws from the back cover.

EPP site passcodes: FNDEPP

Use eCoupon: IDEAPAD

81JB000BUS: i5-8265U Processor with 128GB Solid State Drive and 8 GB LPDDR3 is $746.29 Out of Stock !

Wow, can Ebates be stacked with this deal? That's an extra 8 percent back.

I believe it doesn’t work on the EPP sites. Same laptop on regular site is about $100 more so looks like you’re better off with this deal

Edit: see below with new coupon. This info is wrong

did they remove extended warranty?

can anyone advise on Ideapad vs Yoga? (at the similar price & spec, Yoga is bit cheaper with touch screen but little bit heavier)

Yes only standard 1 year warranty is available.

Hope they will have the i7/16GB/512GB back in stock soon

Curious too- Lenovo has just so many makes and models, and I don't know enough to tell why one would be better than another.

Looking for some advice on the IdeaPad 730s vs Yoga 730. I'm a student right now but I'll be a physiotherapist in a bit under a year.
Got that Zoomer plan finally!

Good for programming student?
I think it's good enough for beginner programmers. But depends on your programming needs, you might need more RAM.

The key difference is the ability to use it as a touch-screen/tablet. Also depends on if you will need any special software for your work that depends on (or works better) with a touch screen.

Not good enough to make me switch from my 2.45lb Zenbook 13". Still waiting on Thinkpad X1 sale. Looking for killer 14" screen and keyboard under 2.5lbs.
