Is this a price error? It's double the price if I don't go through perkopolis.

Great deal. P14s is essentially a T14 with [A LOT] more powerful CPU and graphics.
Same decent quality chassis, albeit not as good as on the X1 series.
Screen is okay, 250 nits FHD IPS is not stellar, but very useable indoors, no major issues.

Downvoted due to lack of a decent screen.

There aren't that many Ryzen laptops with a decent screen, if any lol. The Envy maybe but it's small.

Understandable, I'm trying to find the popular Dell Inspiron 4500u brightness but wasn't it similar or close?

Is there another laptop with similar specs and similar build quality that has a better screen and is less than $750?

too bad: 14” FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS, anti-glare, 250 nits, 45% NTSC, color is worse than some TN panel

That's pretty much the defacto minimum standard/norm on these laptops at this price range, same as the Dell.
I wouldn't call it very bad, the colors are just not very accurate and not very bright to be used outdoor/near a window.

Yeah the Dell Inspiron 15 5505 is 230 nits, 45% NTSC as well. I'm typing on it right now.

It's okay, the reds are not great and the brightness is a little dim if you're in a bright setting. But the contrast ratio is actually decent. Notebookcheck has a review of the panel in their Inspiron 15 review (Tiger Lake variant) here: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Dell-Insp ... 185.0.html

Agree. I would suggest to customize to get 400 nit low power display.

You cannot customize this configuration. However, in my experience it's pretty easy to replace ThinkPad LCDs... Not sure if it's changed since my T480s.

The particular model in the OP cannot be customized, but you can customize P14 AMD:

The price is not as attractive though. Nevertheless, a decent display is a must IMO.
