That is a barebones X1 Carbon.

Currently waiting for WQHD + 16gb @ $1.5k all in (cyber monday / black friday sale prices)
Might as well move up to HDR display! That's what I'm waiting for.

I've been so close to buying a nearly max spec HDR X1 Carbon so many times. They seem to always stall out at the $2200/$2300 range with the various sales and promo codes Lenovo runs. I probably should have bought this last summer when it was basically the same price it is now. But since I've waited this long, what's a few more months.

I have this at work. Perform good enough for my need, but I hate that the FN key is where the CTRL is suppose to be. The number of time I though I copy something, but not is high lol

Usually ThinkPads offer you to switch the keys in the BIOS.

Darn. I don’t think I can do it in that case. It has everything I want. In a few years that will irritate me to no end :/

i hopped on the glass c930... i wanted an x1 carbon but wasn't sure when it was going to go down again
these specs pale in comparison but i still prefer the x1 carbon shape over the c930

I have the X1 Yoga, and there is an option in the Lenovo Vantage utility to swap the FN and CTRL keys:
"If you habitually press the Fn key when intending to press the Ctrl key, you can swap the function of the two keys."
