Deal Link:
Price:
$299.40
*Ordered July 12, shipped July 13.*

Great price for a 1440p monitor with USB-C support (Charges my 13" tbMBP).

I paid $500/each for these from cdw.ca back in May.

Only downside is that the estimated ship time is ~5 weeks.

Shipped to Alberta:
Sub total: $ 299.40 CAD
Estimated Tax: $ 15.17 CAD
Recycling: $ 4.00 CAD
Shipping and Handling: $ 0.00 CAD
Estimated Total: $ 318.57 CAD
What I paid back in May:
SUBTOTAL $451.99
SHIPPING $24.69
RECYCLE FEE $4.00
GST $24.03
GRAND TOTAL $504.71

EDIT:
Detailed specs: http://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/Sys/PDF ... h/P27h.pdf

I am NOT having any problems using this monitor with my rMB 12" or 13" tbMBP both are 2016 models.

My order is expected to be shipped out July 14, estimated arrival July 26.

So I'm guessing the 5 week estimate is just a place holder.

Thanks, if I had the patience to wait 5 weeks I might've picked this up.

Nice OP, any thoughts on the quality? I cant find reviews.

I'd buy this if i am in the market for 27", IPS, 2K, 99% RGB.
Has there been comparable monitors over the past 5 weeks? Otherwise, waiting 5 weeks is true to style.

None that could be connected to via a single USB Type-C connection nor a new one at this price (only recall the Dell 27" refurb going for cheaper).

EDIT: Very few pictures/videos and reviews out there but it seems to be positive.

EDIT2: GCR has 3.25% cashback btw.

This better than the ultrasharp from Dell? That was 260 Inc tax.

You mean the refurbished deal from staples?

If so I agree, even though this is a bit more cash. New, betters specs, and sleeker

Might be unsolicited info, but looks like it definitely won't work with the MacBooks through USB C that many bought here in the past few months. Otherwise I would have been in. Would love to get a reasonably priced good accuracy higher than 1080-res monitor that works over USB C. That, and world peace.

Any further info on why it won’t work?

Edit: looks like several people have issues with this monitor not working on USB c devices from a quick google search.

Edit2: 45w charging capacity from Tom's Hardware

How do you check the hrs on the refurb Dell? Also think I of returning them. I bought 2 of those only to realize that the input is HDMI 1.3 and doesn't support 1440p. Had to download software that messed with the registry just to get dual monitor to work at 1440p without needing to buy an expensive docking station for my laptop.

Can't remember exactly, but the instructions are in the Dell refurb thread and if you search the model on google you will find some youtube videos.
