One should always check any "special" Lenovo deal found here with the price using the VISA code. I've found the prices are always less using VISA code then any of the deals posted on rfds.

That means it runs all day on that particular date until the clock hits 11:59 P.M. EST. So, in your example, the sale would run all day on the 26th until 11:59 P.M., after which there will be a new deal posted at 12:00 A.M. on the 27th.
I know it sounds confusing.

As was pointed out, the site is available for "friends" of Lenovo employees and Lenovo's friends as well. It's not about "getting away with it". It's a perfectly valid outlet for buying.

I need some RAM.
I currently have: 4 GB DDR3 - 1600MHz (1 DIMM)
How do I know how much MORE memory I can put in it?
Is there a slot to add additional 4/8GB, or do I have to remove the current 4GB and replace it with 8?
Sorry not too technically saavy about these things but would really appreciate the insight!

What have you tried the VISA code on?
Does it work on the Ideapad U310, U410 or Y400? If yes, how much is the discount?
Doesn't look like the Lenovo site is down, at least not completely.... just that it gives a blank page when using that VISA code link ???
I'm kinda deciding on which ultrabook to buy... but want to see how much extra, if any, does the VISA code give... perhaps may change my decision again?!

I just tried it for a few thinkpads I am interested in. It says "Coupon not valid for current shopping cart."
I have my eye on the T430

Prices there are about 2-6% lower than the prices posted in this thread. But if you factor in the 8% cashback, then the RFD deal is a tiny bit cheaper.
For example, the T430u is $662.15 in this thread but $623.20 through the Visa Perks link ($704.22 after tax). Including the cashback, the T430u has a net cost of $698.37 after tax through RFD.
