Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 10" Android; Can Not Access

Ok, made stupid mistake.

Tablet regularly has updates and so have gotten into habit of clicking on download and update.

No issues until latest update was to Android 6.0 which reset tablet and when booted back up asked for google account. Never used google account except for initial setup so have no idea what that email was and never sent anything from that email; YES, not bright of me!! Grinning Face With Smiling Eyes

The lenovo suite that could recover device not working due to not recognizing tablet when plugged into laptop via usb cable.

Wipe data and reset not work either as did several times and always asked for google account. Wipe partition not work either.

Any other way before I try sdk route? Thanks.

Won't let me.

After multiple wipes/reset still requires previous google account; can not skip.

Believe the lenovo wipe/reset badly programmed as should bring tablet to what is was when bought but instead still maintains initial google account. I goofed by doing wipe/reset before connecting via usb cable and looking in folders for some hint of google account.

That would be the logical way a manufacturer would make their tablet but lenovo decided that even with hard reset and wipe partition the initial google account still needed. And they wonder why android so fragmented.

Update: After trying with ABD and fastboot and Qfil to upload firmware... discovered a much easier way with no fw required... simply a few keystrokes... should work on many android devices.

Basically allows to reset from within tablet and this time reset is done the way it should have been done initially... somewhat a security issue IMHO as could do reset to any tablet even if do not know pssword [if has one]

Just google for reset password android...
