Lens acquisition symptom - currently targetting 60mm macro f2.8
In recent days, I have been a target of lens acquisition symptom and eying on a Nikon 60mm f2.8 micro...
105mm f2.8 is nice, but 60mm is half the price and i get to play with macro stuff....
Any real reason why I shouldn't get this lens? I think the only real concern is the lack of working distance at 60mm...

I own one and love it. I shoot mostly stuff that won't run away if you get too close mind you.
It balances well, has the nicest bokeh of my lenses, and is definitely the sharpest lens I own at any stop, possibly one of the sharpest lenses Nikon makes.
If you can get a decent price, buy it.
