I have done extensive research on indoor antenna's and there seems to be a general consensus that there is no indoor antenna that is significantly more effective than the pair of Radioshack rabbit ears I have hooked up to my TU-217. There is quite a bit of information in the fmtuners group on Yahoo:

That being said, American Sound carries Magnum Dynalab, as does Executive Stereo. Toronto Home of Audiophile may have them as well, at least they had a Silver Ribbon hooked up when I was last there. I don't know if any actually carries stock.

If I was to consider blowing the money on an indoor antenna, I would probably go with the one made by APS instead:

I know of no source in Canada for the Fanfare, but it is available from Musicdirect in the states:

You may also buy the MD's from Audioadvisor in the States. At least they can be used as a "reality check" on the price the dealer gives you:

My advice though is to try a pair of rabitt ears, fully extended, at about a 70 degree angle, and mounted as higgh as possible. You may find, as I did, that signal strength is adequate for the stations you listen to. None of the indoor antennas would be suitable for DXing.

LF advice on fm/uhf antennas
On a quest to get better fm reception on my home reciever. These seem to be four of the more highly recommended antennas. Does anyone have experience with these or know of a store that sells/stocks them in the GTA (mississauga) or area?
The Fanfare FM2G
The Fanfare FM2G-C Ideally; my first choice
Magnum Dynalab St-2
